Campo de Criptana

In the village, we may find the famous windmills Don Quixote fought against and Cervantes immortalized in chapter VIII of the universal novel. The wind mills of Campo de Criptana may be considered the main symbol of La Mancha as well as one of the images Spain is identified by in the rest of the world. From the wind-mills Cervantes used in his novel, currently we may find ten, and three of them are from the XVI century: Burleta, Infanto and Sardinero.
